17 months!

Wow! Mackenzie this last month went by so fast!!! I swear you were just 16mo!

This month we really had to pack up our house since closing was September 21 and we moved out on the 20th. So the days were filled with playing but also packing. Your so young to understand the move but more on that later...

This month you learned how to walk backwards, bounce, "jump", and spin in circles! Your so funny to watch :)
You now know how to say... Eyes, chair, no, up.. These are just a few new ones I'm sure there are more! You now tell us no which is actually nice when making decisions. Such as do you want this book? And you'll have a preference with language! You also are beginning to tell us more of what you want to eat and when!

You still love being outside, swim lessons, running around, and veggie tales.

You were 2t shirts and 18-24m pants. Buying 2t now hoping you'll wear them throughout the winter. Some 3t shirts are small enough for you to wear... Crazy!!!! Your diaper size 4 but I think pushing going to size 5.

Here are some photos from this month of all the fun we had!

We tried a booster seat... No such luck! Lol it was a mess!!!

Our friends Rachel and Preston took some family photos before we moved :)

This week was so hot, hard to believe for early September.

Mom& dad went to Boston over Labor Day weekend and grandma & nana watched you!!

September 8 you started gymnastics. It's new and hard for you to have such a structured routine... We try hard but there have been a few total toddler tantrums. It's hard but worth it for you to learn to listen!!

Nana got you a car and you love it! Hours of entertainment.

Some last days of our pool! Clothes and all..

Swim lessons again :) you get excited and run to the wa-wa!

Touch a truck fall fest in hawthorn woods. First sucker!

Playing outside!! I can't believe this was just 2 weeks ago and now it's 50 degrees. Burrr!

Big baby :)

Saying goodbye & moving! We moved out the 20th and closing was the 22nd. We are living with Grandma & Grandpa Depke. The first 3-4 days were a bit rough. We expected this as you didn't understand this is our temporary home and continued to think mommy or daddy was leaving. The first couple nights you had major meltdowns and nothing besides veggies and just going to sleep helped. By Wednesday things were a bit better but you still were clingy :(
Now it's been almost 2 weeks and you do much better. You seem to understand this is where your new room is and mommy and daddy's too! You greet Kyla every morning and get excited with me-ma comes down for breakfast!

We are doing gymnastics (with me-ma's help) on Tuesdays and we have MOPS on Wednesdays. Swim out by lake Zurich on Saturdays. Daddy does a great job of still being home around 5:30 for dinner and has his Friday's free. Now it's getting colder and fall is officially here! You of course still love to go outside and run around with your toy car and bubbles!

Mommy is 32 weeks pregnant. Feeling large and not so in charge ;) baby is measuring right on track. I just started going through baby things. My pump works good thing and I have tons of sleepers for baby girl #2 to wear! I am tired most days by your nap (you are only napping about an hour) and I am very thankful for all the help I get!!!

Your bedtime is still with daddy at 6:30 we watch a veggies and your sleeping by 7:30. Up at 7:15ish and we start our day! Overall your happy, very concentrated on certain tasks such as putting blocks in a bin, veggies DVDs back in their box, and reading. You have shown your stubborn, independent, mind of your own side for sure! You know what you want and when you want it. You'll go grab your shoes and both of mine to go outside. You love to look at photos of yourself on my phone and say babies babies over and over until I show you!

Next month you'll be one and a half!!! Wow! I love celebrating your months and remembering all we do. Someday you'll get to read these and see the pictures and just be reminded how much we love you! So much!!

Love mommy & daddy & baby sis
