Going through this past month reminds me why this age is my favorite so far. She is so happy, talkative, rolling everywhere (including during nap - soooo much better sleep!), and playing more with toys. Let see, important facts from this month.
Soooo Abby--
Diet: all formula, you still spit up quite a bit but this is probably not because of the formula but your acid reflux. Your on meds for it (Zantac) but you still spit up. Your happy though. You used to choke and not breathe for about 30 seconds so its getting better for sure! No solids yet, probably will start sometime this next week - avocado or sweet potato :)
Toys: you are grabbing for toys now when you are on your belly/back. You still like your play mat the most but also play with sophie the giraffe, the o-ball, some other teething things. You don't put much besides your hand or my hand in your mouth.
Health: You have not had a cold this month! hooray! You did have a little stuffy nose for maybe a day or two but it went away thankfully. Your skin is soooooo much better. We dropped the bath and only bath every 4 days (why its recommended for eczema daily NO idea- I mean its right for some babies but was definitely not for us!). The only thing we put on is hydrocortisone about 1x a day (or 2 if its really red/bumps) and vaseline. Surprisingly you are not sticky at all and your skin is now so soft :) yay! This was a serious worry for me and I am so glad its better. Your dry head/cradle cap is almost gone too. Hoping some hair grows back quickly ;)
Sleep: You are going to bed between 6-7pm and waking up pretty much at 6am. You have slept till 6:30/7 a few times this month. At the beginning of this month you were only sleeping 30-40 minutes but finally when you started to really roll at the end of April I let you fuss for a bit and you are now taking 1.5-2 hour naps. Three naps a day ending by 5 so you can go to sleep. The past couple days its been nap around 8, 11:30, and then 3:30.
You are wearing 6 month onesies and 3-6 month pants. Socks never stay on so we just aren't even bothering. You sleep in a short sleeve onesie and a .......zippy! Yes we just moved you in one so much easier than sleep training you to sleep without a swaddle.
Your pretty happy all of the time. You only cry HARD if you can't roll all the way and your stuck (which we help you of course!) or if your REALLY hungry and I can't make the bottle fast enough - which pretty much doesn't happen. You laugh at your sister and when I make funny noises. You like kisses and hearing new sounds (rattles/your toys). You like to be outside when its been nicer lately and you enjoy stroller rides too.
Here are some pictures from this month!

We had your dedication ceremony this month at our church - Harvest Bible Chapel. We are so thankful for you and the chance we get to raise you, teach you about Jesus and pray for you to know Him personally someday <3
Bedtime! Most of the time you do fall asleep eating your bottle which is nice for me to hold you <3
Rolling Rolling Rolling
As you can see your hair is pretty gone lol! You have some long strands left on top... which makes it hmmm interesting
So happy, so full of joy! Cant wait to see what this next month brings and watch you continue to grow :)
